The manual is intended for independent reading and is addressed to a wide range of foreign students, interns and graduate students of a non-humanitarian profile, primarily to future engineers, whose cognitive style the author was guided by. The manual consistently outlines the paths of development of physics up to its latest achievements. The entire material is divided into two independent parts in terms of their tasks and the nature of the content. The first teaches reading, followed by a brief recording of basic information. The second involves the development of reading skills with a dictionary. The manual is recommended to be used from the second semester of the pre-university stage of study (level A2 and above).
