Serdtse - ne miaso [The Heart is not Meat]

In April 1919, life in Kyiv was frightening with its unpredictability. Samson Kolechko and his friend and colleague Serhiy Kholodny are sent to find out the origin of the pool of blood under the barn door in the yard of a household in Puscha-Vodytsa. The new investigation does not arouse enthusiasm in Samson, especially if we take into account the unexpected abduction of Nadezhda by the Kyiv railwaymen while she was carrying out the task of the Provincial Bureau of Statistics. Familiar Chinese Red Army soldiers suddenly come to Samson's aid, attracting dangerous attention from the Cheka.
