At the same time, the patriarchal family undergoes significant changes, and a new household order arises. The book by Varvara Ponomareva and Lyubov Khoroshilova is the first attempt, based on the documents of the era, to trace the evolution of the world of a Russian woman in conditions where, with the gradual acquisition of rights and individual freedom, she has the opportunity to independently decide her fate, including arranging her personal life and getting a professional education.
