This edition presents the creative heritage of one of the greatest Russian poets, Nobel laureate Boris Leonidovich Pasternak (1890-1960). From the early 'frantic' verses, he went to the 'overwhelming simplicity' of the later lyrics. For many generations of readers, his works are loved as pure sound in the deafening noise of the era. According to Tsvetaeva, Pasternak will never have a 'square', but there will be 'a lot of lonely, lonely many thirsty, whom he, a secluded spring, watered.' The book includes selected poems by B. L.
