The beginning of the twentieth century, the English county of Surrey. Large metal cylinders fall one after another onto the Earth, from which strange octopus creatures emerge. Gathering giant walking tripods, capable of moving at the speed of a courier train and equipped with generators of deadly heat rays and poisonous black smoke, aliens from Mars begin a systematic and ruthless capture of our planet
